Terms and Conditions

Please submit a $75 non-refundable deposit to process application and reserve a seat in requested session.  Deposit is applied toward Session Fee.  Balance on Earlybird Session Fees (Discounted $50) are due no later than May 5.  Balance on all other Session Fees are due no later than June 15.  If a session still has availability after June 15, a Session Fee may be made in full with application.

 

All payments, once made are non-refundable. However, in the event a student is unable to attend a session, fees may be transferred to a future workshop or to another party.  Early application is recommended to secure a position in desired session.  If a session is canceled by The SoCal Film Festival for low enrollment or any other reason the SoCal Film Festival deems necessary, payments including deposits will be refunded in full.

All dates locations, curriculum are subject to change.  The SoCal Film Festival reserves the right to use a participant’s name, likeness or films in brochures, advertising, the web and in any other promotional materials or for educational purposes and without compensation.

 

Furthermore, participants are expected to abide by the Terms and Conditions as set forth by the SoCal Film Festival. Participants who do not observe such Terms and Conditions may be told to leave the session, and no refunds will be granted. Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited, and the possession of such will result in expulsion without exception, and without a refund of any kind.

 

Participant and/or parent/guardian acknowledges permission for participate in the Summer Film Project. Participant realizes every precaution is taken to eliminate any injuries or hazards and a competent supervisor is present; however, in the event of an injury, participant and parent/guardian hereby waive, release and hold harmless from any liability for damages or claims for damages for personal injury, including accidental death, as well as claims for property damage which may arise with the above named activity against the SoCal Film Festival, its director and team members.
